Rooted Sisterterhood Retreat Offerings

Our approach

Every individual is perfect as they are. Each offering is optional. We encourage participants to honor their body by choosing what is best for them. We offer a safe and inclusive space to nurture community.

Psychedelic breathwork - powerful gateway to the subconscious.

Conscious, somatic breathwork is a powerful gateway to the subconscious. By shifting breathing patterns, participants gently bypass the thinking mind to access, process, and release trapped stress and stored emotional trauma, returning the nervous system to a state of safety.

In the supportive container of this women’s retreat, this practice is perfect for those experiencing burnout, high anxiety, heavy life transitions, or feeling disconnected from their body. Mitzi facilitates this journey by holding a safe, intentional space for every attendee. She incorporates silent sound headphones to provide an immersive, personal experience, uses aromatherapy to ground participants into the present moment and their physical selves, and offers intuitive reiki throughout the session to provide physical comfort and support whenever grounding is needed. It is a heart-centered opportunity to seek emotional regulation and a deeper relationship with the inner world—all without the use of substances.

Hands-On Herbal Workshop

This workshop is centered around the folk preparation known as fire cider, along with a closing nature mandala ceremony to help bring the group into connection with the land, the plants, and one another. Megan’s intention for this retreat is to create an experience that is educational, sensory, playful, and deeply rooted in connection — a reminder that herbal medicine and earth-based ritual can be simple, meaningful, and woven into everyday life.

During the fire cider workshop, participants will learn how common kitchen ingredients — such as garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish, peppers, citrus, herbs, and vinegar — can be transformed into a vibrant seasonal wellness remedy. Together, the group will chop, create, laugh, learn, and explore how food and herbs can become medicine in simple, practical ways.

Throughout the retreat day, participants will also be gently invited to notice and collect small natural items from the land — such as pinecones, rocks, feathers, leaves, flowers, or plants that call to them. To close the experience, the women will come together to create a group nature mandala as a shared closing ritual. This ceremony will honor the land, the energy of the day, and the unique presence each woman brings to the circle.

Sound healing - Vibration healing from the inside out.

Allow yourself to simply rest as you're immersed in the soothing vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls. This guided sound experience is designed to support relaxation by engaging the body's natural relaxation response, with a focus on calming the nervous system and inviting a sense of inner balance. Many people find that the gentle vibrations help quiet a busy mind, release tension, and create space to reconnect with themselves.

There is nothing you need to "do" during this experience. You are welcome to lie down, sit comfortably, close your eyes, or simply observe. Whether you drift into deep relaxation or simply enjoy a few quiet moments, this offering is an invitation to slow down and receive exactly what you need.

Rooted yoga flow - Move with intention. Connect with yourself.

This gentle, intentionally designed yoga practice invites you to tune into your own body, your breath, and your inner wisdom. Through mindful movement and reflection, we'll explore themes of self-trust, resilience, and the strengths that may already exist within you quietly waiting to be rediscovered.

Every posture can be modified, skipped, or adapted to meet your comfort level. Whether you choose to participate fully, move gently, or simply sit and breathe, you are encouraged to honor your body exactly as it is.

Forest bathing - Finding connection in nature.

Step away from the noise and into the quiet wisdom of the natural world. Forest bathing is the practice of slowing down and intentionally connecting with nature through your senses. Together, we'll explore the landscape with curiosity, mindfulness, and openness, creating space to notice what the forest may have to teach us. Building awareness around signs and symbols of strength, intuition, resilience, or guidance that Mother Nature has for you. This experience is meant to encourage reflection, presence, and a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you. There is no right or wrong way to participate. You are invited to walk, pause, observe, journal, or simply breathe in the beauty around you.

Building healthy boundaries

Creating space for the relationships you deserve is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves and the people we love. In this interactive workshop, we'll gently explore common relationship patterns, identify what may be draining our energy, and reflect on what it looks like to care for ourselves while remaining connected to others.

Through guided activity, you'll have the opportunity to consider where your boundaries are serving you well and where they may need strengthening. The goal is to build awareness, intention, and create a path forward that supports your emotional well-being. Sharing is always optional. You're welcome to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable, whether that means joining the discussion, quietly reflecting, or simply listening. Everyone's journey is different, and we believe honoring your own pace is part of the healing process.
